The owner purchased a challenging site from a developer because it was available, affordable, and in the right location. Solutions to the dramatic change in grade and extensive trees were made assets to the final design. The two-story 17,129 SF facility maximizes the site and achieves the Tuscan design style, which blends in with the adjacent subdivision. The living areas are located in the cut of the hillside, farthest away from the highway noise, and assist with controlling light and temperature. Firefighters have views into the three bays from the second floor. A separate bay provides storage space for additional apparatus.
