The County required a 96-bed facility, easily expandable to 144 beds. Therefore we designed the 35,635 SF facility to absorb future inmate populations. Male housing consists of a dormitory and multiple occupancy cell housing wrapped around an elevated staff position. Women are in multiple occupancy cells wrapped around the control room. The Sheriff’s office includes required spaces for administration, dispatch, evidence collection and storage, patrol, and CID. Report-taking and interview rooms are available to serve crime victims.
