This project was designed to make the NICU experience less stressful on the family, patients and the staff. This was achieved in 3 ways: a less institutional design with lots of colors, more room designated for each child and family, and a state of the art lighting system that simulates the di-urnal cycle of day to night to help the infants adjust to their new environment.
