Located in downtown Fort Worth, this multi-story project includes approximately 232,000 square feet of space to meet specific needs within the Tarrant County Detention System. Functioning operationally as a stand-alone facility the building will include a Public Service Lobby, Video Visitation, Facilities for Detention Staff, Food Service Facilities (sized for 16,500 meals per day), Service Dock, Secure Evidence Storage for District Clerk and Sheriff, and inmate housing for 432 high security, special management inmates. The special management units will be made up of 96 Medical / Mental Health Beds, 96 Separation Cells (male), 24 Separation Cells (female), 192 Single Cells (male) and 24 Single Cells (female).
